New Zealand vs Slovakia Half Time 0:0 Live updates 2010 World Cup

In 10 min - Free-kick to NZ now as the All Whites press for the opening goal. Leo Bertos fails to get the ball into the area and Slovakia are allowed to clear easily. Plenty of early crosses coming in for the team ranked 78th in World.

In 20 min - Simon Pearce writes: "Bojovni Jondovci" the fighting Jondas; according to a czeck friend, Jonda is actually a common name in Slovakia, hence... the fighting common-name-havers or something. Good work Simon!

In 23 min  - No doubt that The All Whites have had most of the possession so far and they look well organised.

In 25 min -  Kelly Tucker is back in touch. She writes: "This is so nerve racking waiting for the first goal to happen - plus trying to pretend I'm working by clicking on another page every now and then is making me nervous I'll miss something!" Well Kelly, trust me, you're not missing much at the moment.

In 35 min - This is much better by the Slovaks as Robert Vittek is given space to let fly with a powerful left-foot drive, which just goes wide of Paston's goal. He had it covered.

In 42 min - YELLOW CARD: Tony Lochhead goes in with his studs showing and referee Damon issues the first card of the game.

In 45 - Hamsek's effort was easily palmed over the crossbar by Paston, who has been a bit unsteady in this half. I'm sure the Slovaks will look to target the stopper more in the second half as a minute of stoppage time goes by and referee blows up for half-time.
